Hearts of Hope
Our beautiful Hearts of Hope have been loving designed by the family of Debbie Fryer in her memory.

"Debbie was a much-loved daughter, sister, wife and mother to her twin girls Chloe and Poppy who were born in 2015. She was diagnosed in 2019 with breast cancer, a devastating disease which she bore with great dignity and strength.

Whilst her life was not always easy, she was a fun-loving person and liked to live life to the full (which caused her parents many sleepless nights and grey hairs!)

Being a caring and generous person by nature, she went into the nursing profession and over the years worked in a number of roles in this capacity latterly as a Manager in community care.
With all this in mind, we know that giving this small gift would be a very fitting tribute to Debbie’s memory. It is a reminder that you are never alone and will always have support from our Breast Friends community."

Sending Out Our First Hearts of Hope
We were delighted to have Debbie's mum, Annette, and her sister, Vicki, join us at Breast Friends HQ to pack the very first Hearts of Hope into our surgery kits. These wonderful bundles of kindness and support are one their way to bring comfort and hope to patients at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford.
