Join us for a scenic walk along the Flitch Way followed by refreshments at the historic Booking Hall Café.

About the event
The walk: Joining The Flitch Way in Braintree and walking along the old, disused railway line to Rayne for a break and refuel before heading back. 2miles each way. Flat terrain apart from a couple of sloped bridges.
Mid walk refreshments: We will be stopping at The Booking Hall Cafe, an outdoor cafe based at the old Rayne Railway Station, originally built in 1866 and converted to a cafe in 2009. They offer a variety of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, as well as amazing cakes.
For those that are not up for the walking portion, you can meet us for elevenses at the cafe. I’m estimating about an hour for the stop.
Parking: The closest car park is George’s Yard, Braintree.
Meeting point: On the corner of Pierrefitte Way and Rayne Road (6min walk to join The Flitch).
