Picnic by the River – Grantchester
Join our Cambridge Ambassador, Moira, for a relaxed summer picnic beside the beautiful River Cam in Grantchester.
Bring along your own picnic, something to drink, and if you'd like, a camping chair or picnic blanket. It's a lovely opportunity to spend a couple of hours in good company, enjoying the fresh air, gentle riverside setting and friendly conversation with others who understand.
Meeting point: Outside the Red Lion pub car park, Grantchester.
Please note that parking in the Red Lion car park charges a fee, although there is free parking available nearby if you prefer.
If you arrive after the group has set off, don't worry – we'll be just down by the river and should be easy to find.
